Delaware web design for businesses that need to be found

You may have been in business for decades — but without a website, do you really exist? We build them with AI now, which is why one starts at $999 instead of five thousand and the $999 build is live in about a week. A Goober checks every page before launch, and the same Goobers are still here when you need a change.

Delaware web design for businesses that need to be found
Overview

Why it’s $999 and not $5,000.

Because the boring half is done by AI, and we’d rather say so than let you find out later. It does the heavy lifting — page structure, markup, schema, first-draft copy, the repetitive slog that used to take two weeks and got billed to you by the hour. It is very good at that, and it does not get bored at 4pm on a Friday.

What it does not do is decide anything. A Goober decides what your site says, what gets cut, and what a customer in Sussex County actually needs to see first. A Goober reviews every page before it goes anywhere, and nothing goes live until you have looked at it and said yes.

That is the whole trick, and the next section shows the arithmetic. Below that are the three ways to buy one.

Three ways to buy one

Pick how much of it you want to drive.

Same kitchen, same Goobers checking the work. The only real difference is who makes the changes after launch — and how much of the site they can reach.

HTML only

Live in about a week.
Updated by your AI Agent.

$999 to start

The fastest and the hardest to break — because there is almost nothing in there to break.

  • After launch you are assigned your own AI Agent. Tell it what you want changed and it drafts the update.
  • A Goober reviews and approves every change before it reaches your live site.
  • If the Agent cannot work out what you need, a human picks it up — same day, same phone number.
  • No database, no plugins, no login screen. Very little to hack and nothing to patch at 2am.
  • Loads fast, because there is nothing to load except the page.
  • Clean SEO structure, metadata and schema built in from day one.

The honest bit

No dashboard. You will not log in and edit this one yourself — you ask your Agent instead. That trade is exactly why it costs less, and for a business whose site does not change every week it is a good trade.

WordPress with content blocks

Edited by you,
where it counts.

$1,750 to start

You keep the keys to the parts that change often, and the rest of the design stays where we put it.

  • Built on standard WordPress — no proprietary system, nothing you cannot take with you.
  • Before we build, we agree which parts you will actually want to change: hours, staff, prices, photos, specials.
  • Those become simple content blocks you edit in the normal WordPress editor. No code, no phone call, no waiting on us.
  • Everything else stays put, so the site still looks like the one we designed a year from now.
  • Training on launch day for whoever will be doing the updating.
  • Room to grow — add a blog, forms, booking or a shop when you are ready.

The honest bit

Contains WordPress. Core and plugins need keeping current, and that is not optional — it is what our care plans are for. Scheduled plugin updates live on Goober Care Plus at $125 a month. Ask about it before you launch, not after.

WordPress + Beaver Builder

Like Wix or Squarespace.
Except this one is yours.

$2,500 to start

AI builds the first version. After that, all of it is yours to move, restyle and add to.

  • Full drag-and-drop visual editing — click anything on the page and change it.
  • Built for 100% versatility: add pages, move sections, restyle anything, without paying us to do it.
  • Saved rows and templates, so pages you add later still match the ones we built.
  • No monthly ransom. Move hosts, export it, take the whole site with you.
  • Everything in the content-blocks build, plus the visual builder and proper training on it.
  • Backed by the Goober 100% satisfaction guarantee.

The honest bit

The most moving parts of the three, and the most freedom. If nobody on your team actually wants to touch the site, the content-blocks build will serve you better for less.

All three start with the same discovery call and include everything below. Prices are starting points — more pages, a shop, a booking system or a membership area move the number, and we will tell you before you commit rather than after.

Still torn? Ring us and describe your business for two minutes — we will tell you which one, including when the answer is the cheapest one.

Add-on · WordPress builds only

Selling online? Add a shop.

WooCommerce turns either WordPress build into a real store — products, checkout, shipping and tax, and orders landing in the same dashboard you already log into. What it takes depends on how many products you sell, how you want to take payment and what has to talk to your register or your accountant. So ring us, tell us what you are selling, and we will scope it properly and quote it before you commit.

The honest bit: a shop is not available on the $999 HTML build. It needs WordPress underneath it, so it goes on the $1,750 or the $2,500 build.

Goober Math

Nobody made the website cheaper.

We made the process that builds it cheaper. Here is the arithmetic, with nothing hidden in it.

The old way

Manual production

Lots of repetitive work

Lots of development hours

A more expensive website

The Goober way

AI efficiency

Human experience

Smarter workflow

Websites starting at

$999

We didn’t make websites cheaper by caring less. We made the process more efficient. That’s the difference.

Goober translationCheaper doesn’t mean flimsier. It means we stopped charging you for the boring parts.
What’s included

Everything you need, handled.

Whichever of the three builds you pick, this comes with it. None of it is an upsell.

Caitlyn presenting a finished custom website design on a large monitor

Custom web design

A design built around your business — drafted fast by AI, then shaped and signed off by a Goober. Never a cookie-cutter template.

Mobile-first development

The phone layout is designed first, not squashed down afterwards — fast, tappable and readable on phones, tablets and desktops. How we do mobile →

Collaborative revisions

A clear revision process so the final design is exactly right.

Development and QA

A human reads every page the AI produced and tests it properly before anything goes live.

Training and support

Training on launch day, an AI Agent on the HTML build, and Goobers on the phone whenever you would rather talk to one.

Content and logo design

Optional content development and logo design to round out your brand.

Mobile web design

Most people will meet you on a phone.

More than half of the traffic to a small business website arrives on a phone, and for a restaurant or a contractor it is usually a good deal more than half. So we do not design a website and then squash it down to fit. Every build on this page is drawn for the small screen first and opened out from there — responsive by default, on phones, tablets and desktops alike.

Caitlyn holding a phone and a tablet showing the same site laid out for each screen

Drawn for the small screen first

The phone layout is the one we settle first, because it is the one that has to make hard choices — what comes first, what gets cut, what a customer needs to see before they scroll. A design that survives that test looks better on a monitor too. Doing it the other way round is how you end up with a desktop site wearing a phone costume.

Thumbs, not mouse pointers

Buttons big enough to hit while you are walking. Text you can read without pinching. A phone number that dials when you tap it and an address that opens the map. Forms short enough to finish one-handed. None of that happens by accident — it is decided page by page, and it is the difference between a call and a bounce.

Fast on a bad signal

A site that is quick on office fibre and slow in a car park is a slow site. Images are compressed and sized for the screen they land on, the code is kept lean, and nothing loads that does not earn its place. That is a large part of why the $999 HTML build is as quick as it is — no database to wait on.

Google reads the phone version

Google indexes the mobile version of a site, not the desktop one. So the phone layout is not a courtesy to phone users — it is the version that decides how you rank, and increasingly the version that AI assistants read when they answer a question about your business. Mobile and SEO stopped being separate problems some time ago.

Tested on real devices

Not just a browser window dragged narrow. A Goober picks up an actual phone and an actual tablet, taps every link, sends every form, and reads every page — because that is where the problems surface, and we would rather find them than have your customer find them.

It is not a separate product

There is no mobile package, no mobile add-on and no mobile line on the quote. All three builds are mobile-first, and the price you see above is the price with all of it in. Anyone selling you a mobile version of your website separately in 2026 is selling you the website twice.

How we work

Four steps. The middle one just got a lot faster.

Caitlyn holding a launch checklist with desktop, tablet and phone checks ticked off
01

Discovery

One call. We learn your business, your customers, and which of the three builds actually fits.

02

AI does the slog

Structure, markup, schema and first-draft copy — the repetitive work you used to be billed for by the hour.

03

A Goober does the thinking

A human reviews every page, fixes what the machine got wrong, and decides what your customer needs to see first.

04

You approve, we launch

Nothing goes live until you have said yes. Then we stick around — hosting, support, and your AI Agent.

How long it takes

HTML only · $999

About a week

From the day you approve the design and get us your content.

Content blocks · $1,750

About two weeks

The extra time is the WordPress build and your training session.

Beaver Builder · $2,500

About three weeks

Templates have to be built properly, and the training is longer.

Those clocks start the day you approve the design and get us your content — and that last part is almost always what decides it. For comparison, the typical timeframe for many freelancers and agencies runs six to twelve weeks. If yours is urgent, say so on the call and we will tell you honestly whether the date is possible.

Your part in it

Those four steps are ours. This bit is yours.

We have now said twice on this page that the clock starts the day you approve the design and get us your content. Here is exactly what that means, so it is not a surprise in week two.

01

Answers to some blunt questions

What do you want this website to do for you? Who is the customer? Who are you up against? What should someone do in the first ten seconds? Most of it comes out on one call — and the answers decide everything that gets built afterwards. A website with no goal behind it is just a brochure nobody asked for.

02

Your brand as it already exists

Your logo, your colors, the lettering on the van, the sign over the door, the way you answer the phone. You have already branded yourself somewhere in the community, whether you meant to or not. The website should look like that place — not like a stranger who happens to share your name.

03

Words and pictures — or a decision to let us handle them

Content is the single most common reason a build sits still. You do not have to write it yourself. You do have to pick which of the three routes below you want, and then not go quiet on us. Photos help too: real ones of your actual premises beat stock every time.

04

One person who can say yes

There are three moments where we need a decision: the design, the content, and the go-live. When those have to travel round a committee, a one-week build quietly becomes a five-week one. Tell us on the first call who signs off, and stay involved — nobody knows your business better than you do.

Where the words come from

Somebody has to write it. There are three honest ways that happens, and the one you pick changes the price and the timeline more than almost anything else on this page.

Route one

You already have it

Copy off your current site, a brochure, a menu, a services list. We tidy it, cut what has gone stale, and put it where it actually works. Fastest and cheapest, because the hard thinking is already done.

Route two

We interview you

About forty-five minutes on the phone while you explain what you do, in the words you would use to a customer standing in front of you. We write from that. It sounds like you because it is you — you just did not have to sit and stare at a blank page.

Route three

We research and write it

For a brand new business with nothing on paper yet. We look at your market, what your competitors are saying, and what your customers are actually typing into Google, and write it from scratch. You still read every word before it goes anywhere.

Whichever route you take, the pattern is the same as everything else here: AI drafts, a Goober edits, and you approve. Nothing gets published that you have not read.

Before it goes live

  • Every page read by a person, not just spell-checked by a machine.
  • Tested on phones, tablets and desktops — the site adjusts itself to whatever it lands on.
  • Links, forms and phone numbers clicked one at a time, because testing is where the problems surface and we would rather find them than you.
  • Two training sessions, so you are not left guessing how to run the thing you just bought.
  • Then we launch it — which we have always thought of as the start of the relationship rather than the end of the job.
After launch

The bit most quotes go quiet about.

A website is not a thing you buy once. Three plans, all priced in public — here is what keeping yours alive costs and exactly what each one covers, before you commit rather than after.

What every care plan covers

  • Hosting on our servers, monitored so we usually know before you do
  • Security patching and malware scanning
  • WordPress core and theme updates — tested before they go on, not after
  • Off-site backups you can actually be restored from
  • Email support, answered by a Goober rather than a ticket robot
  • Content changes as they come up, billed at our $105 hourly rate

Goober Care

The lights stay on

from$50per month

Everything in the list above. The right plan for the $999 HTML build, and for a WordPress site that does not change much from one month to the next.

  • Hosting, monitoring, security patching and off-site backups.
  • WordPress core and theme kept current.
  • Plugin updates are not on a schedule here. We do them when something breaks or a patch cannot wait, and we tell you what the time will cost before we touch it.
  • Support by email, answered by a Goober. Changes you ask for are billed at our $105 hourly rate.

The honest bit

If your site runs more than a handful of plugins, paying for those updates by the hour usually costs more across a year than Care Plus does. We will tell you which one you actually need rather than sell you the bigger number.

Ask what mine would cost
Most WordPress sites want this one

Goober Care Plus

Plugins handled, and an hour of us

$125per month

Everything in Goober Care, plus the things WordPress owners actually ring us about — including the ringing.

  • Plugin updates on a schedule. Every plugin reviewed monthly, run on a copy of your site first, and rolled back if it misbehaves. No surprise white screen on a Tuesday.
  • One hour of client request work a month. New photos, a price change, a page added, a form tweaked — whatever is on your list. A $105 value at our normal rate.
  • Your hour is yours to spend how you like. It does not roll over, and anything past it is quoted before we start.
  • A Goober on the phone. Phone support at 302-645-7177 is what Care Plus adds over Goober Care.

The hour on its own is $105. Care Plus is $125. Which makes the scheduled plugin updates, and everything in Goober Care underneath them, about $20 a month.

Start Goober Care Plus

Goober Care Pro

Plus, and a start on getting found

$250per month

Everything in Goober Care Plus, and every month we tell you where you actually rank — then spend an hour doing something about it.

  • Everything in Goober Care Plus. Scheduled plugin updates, your hour of client request work, and a Goober on the phone at 302-645-7177.
  • A ranking report on 10 keywords, every month. The ten searches that matter to your business, where you sit on them, and whether that moved since last month. In writing, not a dashboard login you never open.
  • One hour a month spent on those rankings. Titles, headings, internal links, a thin page filled out — whatever the report says is holding you back that month.
  • That is two hours a month in total: one for site requests, one for rankings. Neither rolls over, and anything past them is quoted first.
  • A one-time conversion cost, if your site needs it. Some websites need work before the ranking half of this plan can move anything — tracking wired up properly, a page structure worth optimizing. We look first and tell you the number before you commit. Plenty of sites need nothing at all.

Be straight about what this is: a toe in the water, not an SEO campaign. Ten keywords and an hour will fix the obvious things and show you whether search is worth chasing. If you want to actually compete, our SEO plan is 50 keywords and 6 hours a month.

How much upkeep each build actually needs

HTML only · $999

Barely any

No database, no plugins, no login screen. Hosting, your AI Agent, and very little else to go wrong.

Content blocks · $1,750

Genuinely needed

WordPress core and plugins go out of date. An unpatched site is how a small business ends up defaced on a Tuesday morning.

Beaver Builder · $2,500

Genuinely needed

The same, plus the builder itself. More moving parts is the price you pay for more freedom.

That is not an upsell. It is the trade you make for being able to edit the thing yourself — and it is the single best reason to consider the $999 build even when you can afford the others.

Lewes, Delaware. And wherever you are.

Our office is at 17527 Nassau Commons Blvd in Lewes, and most of the businesses we build for are within an hour’s drive of it. We build for clients across the country as well — but if you would rather work with someone who could turn up in person, that is genuinely on the table.

FAQ

Questions? We’ve got answers.

Still curious? Give us a call — we don’t bite.

Three builds, three starting points. HTML from $999, WordPress with content blocks from $1,750, WordPress with Beaver Builder from $2,500. More pages, a shop, a booking system or a membership area move the number — and we tell you before you commit, not after.

Yes — with WooCommerce, on either of the WordPress builds. It starts as low as $500 on top of the build, and where it lands depends on how many products you have, how you take payment, and whether it has to sync with anything you already use. Give us a call at 302-645-7177 and we will scope it out properly and quote it. The one thing it will not go on is the $999 HTML build — a shop needs WordPress underneath it.

Partly, and we would rather say so than have you find out later. AI does the structure, the markup, the schema and the first drafts. Goobers decide what it says, what gets cut, and what a customer actually needs to see first. A person makes every call that matters, and nothing goes live until you have looked at it and said yes.

On the $999 HTML build you are assigned your own AI Agent after launch. Tell it what you want changed — new hours, a new photo, a paragraph reworded — and it drafts the update. A Goober checks it before it goes live. If the Agent cannot work out what you need, a human takes over. You never hit a dead end with a robot.

Depends which build you pick, which is rather the point of having three. On the $999 HTML build there is no dashboard — you ask your AI Agent instead. On the $1,750 build you edit the parts we agreed are worth editing, in the standard WordPress editor. On the $2,500 Beaver Builder build you can change absolutely all of it, by dragging and dropping.

About a week for the $999 HTML build, about two weeks for content blocks, about three for Beaver Builder — counting from the day you approve the design and get us your content. That last part is usually what decides it. For comparison, the typical timeframe for many freelancers and agencies runs six to twelve weeks.

Four things. Answers to some blunt questions about what the site is for and who the customer is — that is one call. Your brand as it already exists: logo, colors, the lettering on the van. A decision about where the words come from, because you can write them, we can interview you, or we can research and write them. And one person who can say yes to the design, the content and the go-live. That last one is what usually decides whether a build takes a week or a month.

Your choice, and it is the single biggest lever on the price and the timeline. Route one: you already have copy on your current site or in a brochure, and we tidy it and put it where it works. Route two: we interview you for about forty-five minutes and write from that, so it sounds like you because it is you. Route three: you are brand new with nothing on paper, and we research your market and write it from scratch. Whichever route, AI drafts, a Goober edits, and you read every word before it goes live.

Two training sessions come with every project, so you are not left guessing how to run the thing you just bought. What gets covered depends on the build: on the $999 HTML site it is mostly how to work with your AI Agent, on the $1,750 build it is editing your content blocks, and on the $2,500 Beaver Builder site it is the drag-and-drop editor. After that a Goober is still on the phone at 302-645-7177.

Three plans. Goober Care starts at $50 a month and covers hosting, security patching, WordPress core and theme updates, off-site backups and email support — changes you ask for are billed at our $105 hourly rate. Goober Care Plus is $125 a month and adds scheduled plugin updates, tested on a copy of your site first, one hour of client request work every month — an hour is $105 on its own — and a Goober on the phone. Goober Care Pro is $250 a month: everything in Care Plus, a ranking report on 10 keywords every month, and a second hour spent on improving those rankings — and if your existing site needs work before that ranking hour can achieve anything, there is a one-time conversion cost, which we look at and quote before you commit. The $999 HTML build needs very little looking after because there is no database and no plugins. The two WordPress builds genuinely do. We quote yours before you sign.

Every one of them, and it is not an extra. We design the phone layout first and open it out from there, so the site is responsive on phones, tablets and desktops — big tap targets, a number that dials when you tap it, images sized so it stays quick on a weak signal. Google indexes the mobile version of your site, so that layout is also the one your ranking depends on. A Goober tests it on real devices before launch. More on how we handle mobile →

We do. We stick around with hosting, updates, and friendly support so your site stays fast and secure. On the WordPress builds that is not optional housekeeping — core and plugins need keeping current, which is what Goober Care Plus is for.

For two of the three builds, yes. The $999 build is static HTML with no database and no plugins, which is why it is cheap and why there is nothing to patch. If you want to log in and edit pages yourself, you want one of the WordPress builds.

Constantly. We are in Lewes and a lot of our clients are within an hour of us, but plenty are not. Nothing about the process needs you to be local.
