Changing the password on your Joomla account is relatively easy. Follow the steps below to change your Joomla account password. Don’t forget to save the password in a secure password keeper or in a password journal for future reference.

 

 

How Do I Change my Joomla Password?

Step 1: Start by logging into your Joomla account. You can follow these instructions for logging into WordPress.

Step 2: After logging into Joomla, click Profile at the top right.

Step 3: Select Edit Account under the Profile drop-down.

Step 4: Scroll down to the bottom of the Details page. Enter a new Password and enter the same password under Confirm Password.

Step 5: Click Save at the top of the window to save your new password. Remember to update your password in your secure password keeper or password journal to avoid any confusion in the future.
