Add and Remove Banner Images in WordPress
The banner is probably the highlight of your homepage. It's likely the largest element on your entire website. Updating the banner can give your entire website a fresh look. It is easy to add and remove banner images with Widgetkit. To add an entire gallery of images, use these instructions to create a new gallery of images in WordPress. Open Widgetkit
To begin, log into WordPress, your content management system.
Step 1: Click the Widgetkit link in the left sidebar within the content management system. Hint: It's at the very bottom.
Add New Banner Images
Step 1: Resize the image to the appropriate size.
Step 2: Navigate to Widgetkit.
Step 3: Click on Gallery to see your Gallery Folders. Select the folder for the banner you are trying to edit. For example, select Banner - Home.
Step 3: Drag and drop the new banner image to the area labeled "Drop new images here to upload."
Step 4: Save your changes by clicking Update.
Step 5: Go to the front-end of the website to check out your work. To do this, you can right-click on the name of your website in the top left corner and select Open in a new tab.
Remove Banner Images
Step 1: Navigate to Widgetkit.
Step 2: Click on Gallery to see your Gallery Folders. Select the folder for the banner you are trying to edit. For example, select Banner - Home.
Step 3: While hovering over the image, you will see a delete symbol to the right of that section. Click that symbol to remove the image from the rotation on the home page of the site.
Step 4: Go to the front-end of the website to check out your work. To do this, you can right-click on the name of your website in the top left corner and select Open in a new tab.
